Women in Science

50 Fearless Pioneers Who Changed the World

I smiled the whole time I was reading this. (OK, not the whole time. Some of them had pretty bummer lives.) I know it is for a younger audience, but the format of the writing got a little repetitive. Mostly the "moral" style final paragraph for each scientist. But the choice of women and the breadth of topics they worked in and their fearlessness made this such a great read. The art is also a fun style. When looking at photos or knowing what they look like in real life, I love that the art really seems to capture their faces even in such a simplified style. Lots of little extras, too, like an illustrated glossary and illustrations of different types of tools that scientists use. Really fun.
