negative 10 stars for fiction falsely portrayed as nonfiction. /// Rasenberger concludes that JFK's decision to cancel air support strikes was the main reason for the failure \\\ More historic revisionism! The Bay of Pigs invasion conceived and planned within the Eisenhower Administration [the planning group members included VP Nixon and Eisenhower's SecDef], their plan included a full-scale military invasion/occupation and the assassination of Castro. Kennedy nixed the military support and any attempt on Fidel's life and the CIA assured him the people would arise against Castro. Kennedy fired Dulles, Richard Bissell [whose grandnephew, Robert Mueller III, would become FBI director shortly before 9/11/01] and Gen. Cabell, whose brother, Earl Cabell, was the mayor of Dallas who gave last minute orders to detour Kennedy's motorcade on the day of his assassination. President Kennedy recommended to the Intelligence Advisory Board that the CIA be /// dismembered \\\ - - instead, JFK ended up dead.
