In light of the 2016 election, it begs to question if the POTUS campaign was stranger than "House of Cards" and who stole whose play book. S5 had all the same slimy elements: fake news, betrayals, Russian meddling, October surprise, Wikileaks, party discord, Ohio and Pennsylvania, Bohemian Grove ... FBI investigations; dreadful to follow the toxic swampy subplots especially after Spacey's coming out amid sexual abuse allegations in real life. Worth to note that Robin Wright directed the two final episodes and did a good job while playing the most important role in the entire series ... likely in the final S6 as well.
