From Library Staff

A diverse group of high school girls with magical powers fight monsters while trying to maintain their friendships and romances. Reminiscent of Sailor Moon or the Power Rangers, this magical girl story started as a webcomic and picks up at a time when the team has been disbanded for two years.

I adored Zodiac Starforce. It's definitely for a fans of strong female characters, but also for those who grew up with the magical girl genre ala Sailor Moon. Tons of fun, and a very good LGBT+ recommendation as well.

I loved this graphic novel SO MUCH! The bright, colorful illustrations and strong girls storyline make me happy!

A fun and colorful ride. The visuals were spot on for this sailor moon feeling graphic and while the writing left a little to be desired at times it was still quite a fun read with all sorts of great girl-power.

This book was just not my style - I've never been a fan of the magical girl when it's played as straight as this is. The characters were very flat, and I felt like I'd been dropped into the volume lacking vital background info.
