Gives a decent history of how Yugoslavia came to break up, and how the territory of Kosovo became the powder keg for the conflict. The stories of atrocities are heartbreaking, but I would have expected more from one of the people who led the prosecutions. In particular, there's no information on how some of those who were convicted ended up being acquitted on appeal, not the least of whom was Ante Gotovina. If you know nothing about the conflict, it's a good primer. If you remember even a little bit about how crazy and evil things got on all sides, I wouldn't give it the time.
