Add a CommentI read this for the Read Harder 2020 Challenge for Task #18 Read a picture book with a human main character from a marginalized community. I love it! Melba was one of the very first female trombone players! And JAZZ! What's not to love? The illustrations are wonderful too.
Great bio, loved the art work. My 5 year olds attention did not last long as it was kind of lengthy.
A wonderful book.
