This volume is great! Pirates, Sandman, Dr. Destiny, the Shade, looking into to the future, times past, a trip to Hades... Great, great stuff and much variety.

Starman Omnibus, volume two is the collected works of issues 17-29. The continuing story is good and I have enjoyed reading the first two volumes. My biggest hangup about Starman - especially this volume - is the excessive reminiscing. There are so many histories, past reflections, and journal entries that it seems like DC History Class. These various nostalgic story arcs instill a necessary history of Starmen that have found injustice. Jack Knight was not the first; we discover many Starmen have existed or exist elsewhere. Recommended for mature readers.
