Add a CommentThis book is a very unusual counting, concepts and early reader picture book. It all starts with one pair of underwear that two bears will not share. This goes on through the numbers with animals who are not willing to share until you reach ten slides, but twenty pigs. These pigs however know how to share and teach a thing or two to the other animals.
The illustrations in this book are colorful, fun and adorable. The language is written in a simple and repetitive manner that would make it perfect for early readers to read independently. The language is at times a bit unusual, "One hot cow stews, 'Moo boo-hoo!'" But this is part of the fun of reading the book. It is nonsensical which makes learning numbers and new words more enjoyable than a typical concept book. And of course I love how all the animals learn how to share in the end.
