In the tradition of Laurell K. Hamilton, a deliciously wicked sequel to Bitten, from Canada's new queen of suspense.Even though she's the world's only female werewolf, Elena Michaels is just a regular girl at heart -- with larger than normal appetites. She sticks to three feasts a day, loves long runs in the moonlight, and has a lover who is unbelievable frustrating yet all the more sexy for his dark side. Like every regular girl, she certainly doesn't believe in witches. Then again, when two small, ridiculously feminine women manage to hurl her against a wall, and then save her from the hunters on her tail, Elena realizes that maybe there are more things in heaven and earth than she's dreamt of.Vampires, demons, shamans, witches -- in Stolen they all exist, and they're all under attack. An obsessed tycoon with a sick curiosity is well on his way to amassing a private collection of supernaturals, and plans to harness their powers for himself...

Love the Women of the Underworld series by Kelly Armstrong, particularly the werewolves Elena and Clay and necromancer story-lines.

Kelley Armstrong's writing is flawless. I just wish Jeremy and Clay had been a bigger part of the story. The parts without them seemed to drag a bit, but I'm sure that's just because I love those characters so much.

I wasn't expecting such a change of scenary in the novel. I had expected for Elena to remain at the mansion and to strengthen the werewolf community. I enjoyed the change of pacing and the introduction of new fantastical elements. Elena's apprehension to the exisitence of witches and demons was realistic and I'm excited to see where the new elements take the series which was fairly (with the obvious exception of werewolves) grounded in realism prior to this.

second in Kelley Armstrong's 'Otherworld' series - introduces a number of characters who will appear later (as well as 'races' who may appear later) - her characterizations are strong and only build on the first book

I enjoyed Bitten but Stolen is so much better. I was so intrigued by this book that I couldn't put it down. I hope the rest are as good as this one!
