With Frank Molloy's changed circumstances, it will be interesting to see how the characters and series develops. How and where will Frank and Sarah's households merge when they marry? Will Sarah continue to be a midwife at all? Will Frank be able to continue any investigative work? I am curious to see how it all works out.

Very thoughtful with meticulous steps. If you are looking for a book with action, this is not it, but characters are developed nicely. I've gotten to really enjoy the main characters so it is nice to learn more about them in the series. The one thing I missed in this book that is usually in the others in the series was seeing the main character more in the role of a midwife.
