With so many intelligent and well-acted Australian television series, this failed miserably after just a quarter of the way through episode 1. Come on people. How can you clean up a crime scene and emerge surgically clean, not a hair out of place, no signs of any effort to do this kind of grisly task. Utter Crapola.
Just could not get into it.
Different from other crime procedurals. They are quite the quirky crime scene cleaners. Of course how they solve them is a little too convenient but it's nice to watch something else for a change.
Pretty good series. Subtle humour. Although the actor is totally miscast as the male lead. He's so bland. But it's still a watchable show.
And check out the very funny show, 'Crime Scene Cleaner', available at the library too (in German with subtitles).
This is very clever and funny. When we first started watching it, we thought it might be a spin-off from a police procedural, but upon investigation, learned that all the inside jokes were put there with the purpose of giving the characters history. Some explanations you can find online. Others you can't. It's like meeting a couple who've been together a decade and getting to know them.
The dialogue and chemistry between the two lead actors pushes the rating past average. Since they are in most of the scenes and carry the show, the rest of the material is mostly to support them moving to solve the crime. This setup won't appeal to those preferring twisted plot developments or suspense although there are opportunities to work out who "dun it". Lightweight but entertaining for those with an ear for dialogue and a soft spot for eccentrics.
Different watching something from 'down under'. Quite enjoyed Mr.'s sense of humour. Good although somewhat predictable.
Really enjoyable, fun, light-hearted mystery series! I recommend it!
