"Lady Margaret Cassidy left a life of nobility behind in Ireland, forsaking her grieving omeland to aid war-ravaged men in England. Great read. Read it in one go. A vivid description of opium addiction and its fallout for the families and loved ones who suffer alongside them. Also refreshing to see a more honest and brave portrayal of the Irish.
