amazing book!

This book was terrible! Please don't waste your time reading it! The whole book was WAY too fast paced and didn't go into a lot of details. There are a few jokes here and there (peanut M&Ms) that are very dry and used twice. I realize this is fiction, but nobody could do what Kari did so easily and fast. Also, you could see the ending halfway through the book. Girl gets guy, snotty rich dude turns out to be a agent who is supposed to protect the girl, her two friends that always fight become a couple, AND her parents are clearly traitors. Between all of her disguises, you would think she could make one that would make this book good.

Kari's parents are spies but one day during school, she gets a text from her mom which is a "code black". Kari's parents have been accused of being double agents for Russia. Kari then goes to find her brother and try's to meet her parents at three different places but they don't show up at all. Kari and some of her friends (including her crush Luke) decide to break into Langey which is a detention center. They all get caught but Kari's mom and brother get broken out (she already escaped) and they all meet at their old house. Kari finds out that her parents are indeed spies for Russia and don't leave the country with them but instead join a Interpol program so that her and her little brother Charlie won't have to go into the district care system.
