Add a CommentIn Immortal Ever After, I rather enjoyed the romance between the human, Valerie, and one of Lucian's toughest--and usually a man of very few words-- Enforcer, Anders. But what I enjoyed most was how Lucian took Valerie in as family, after she managed to save Lucian's newborn twins at birth, as well as the life of Lucian's lifemate, Leigh--formerly human--when Leigh almost died from too much blood loss, during delivery.
I feel that a good description in a book helps me see it and if I can see it, I can feel it....sorry but U would have to disagree with you on that Courtney. I LIKE feeling these books.....just sayin! I love these books! Read all of them to see what happens to the couples later down the road, very cool!
As always her books in the series is very good. very entertaining and fun to read. Her character's are really likeable and unique, with a lot of depth.
This book is best enjoyed with a sarcastic commentary running the background of your brain.
It's a tedious read. Do I care that the protagonist can put on a shirt, pull her arms through her sleeves and find the neck hole? NOPE! And yet Ms. Sands saw fit to write a few paragraphs related to this task.
Do not recommend.
