Definitely better than most romance novels. Complex characters (although Emmie isn't nearly as interesting/likeable as Devlin), clever dialogue, fairly smoldering love scenes. This is a series with great promise! I look forward to reading more from this author.

This book is so wonderful to read I wanted to reread it two days later. I personally downloaded a sample from Amazon to see if I would like it and knew then I would love the book. I checked out the book at the library.
Highly recommended! Grace Burrowes is a really good historical romance writer.
