Will Tate, Joe Sunne, White Bird, Breanna and her mom are the only charctres worth talking and thinking about. The rest of them- TRASH. Some are the type that can be recycled into better people. Many are the type that stays the same, doesn't change and pollutes everything and everyone around them- like plastic bags or pollution. Breanna is so strong in the book even though she is so alone, so shunned and so tortured. I dislike the Sheriff because he has a biased point of view and doeasn't want anything to sully his "pristine reputation". I would tell you to read this but it's the internet. The only thing you see are a bunch of words, no voice. Maybe that's all you need- Words.

I usually don't read YA fiction, but the title intrigued me.

Well written, if a little angsty. Good story. Yes, it's dark, but sometimes you have to go deep into the dark to find the light.

A good read.

This book made me want to suspect everything. I grabbed this book off the shelf because it was recommended, and I'm not sure if I was glad I checked it out or not. This book contains the darkest of places sometimes. However, it shows how far perseverance and determination can take you (ok this is sounding like an essay. The point is, is that its a really dark book and I am NOT going to read another book like this soon. Sorry, but its the truth.)
