Blind Date With a Book comment: "LOL when first saw book - I am a comedy fan + a travel fan so this wild combo pleased - interesting to see an older Connolly - mellower but still blunt. Offbeat."

Great trip description focusing on oddball characters and sights, and witty comment by a rather popular Scottish comedian/actor. B.C. has matured and is less potty mouthed here, but still gives an interesting view of the old Route 66. Of course, a motorcycle is the best transport, and his is a custom trike, low-rider that fits his image as a rebel.
