"The Seven Deadly Sins delineate the path a person's downfall, the surest way to achieve eternal damnation. But there is a way out, a way to reclaim salvation: blame it on the demons--taunting you, daring you to embrace these sins--and you shall be free. The painful truth is that these impulses live inside all of us, inside all sentient beings. But alas, one person's sin may be another being's virtue."--P.[4] of cover.

Most of this book is enjoyable and engaging. I recommend ignoring the short story chosen for "Sloth" at the end of the book: "Work is Hard", by Greg Cox.

The premise is ridiculous, and it includes the most glaring logical error I have seen in any Star Trek novel I've ever read. It may be the most obvious, glaring error I've _ever_ seen in a published work, and it's insulting to the reader that it exists.

Enjoy the other sins, but let Sloth be.
