Excellent history of the Cold War from the perspective of reducing the threat of nukes and other weapons of mass destruction. Full of insights and intriguing mini-stories about the characters and events involved. Unfortunately, Armageddon still looms.

Amazing book. A must-read for any American. Read it and realize the Soviets are now the Russians. And that our world is a lot less safe than most people realize. Amazing book.
