Really cute book that uses letters to fill in the shape of the animal that starts with that letter. The fold-out flaps increase interest. My children sat and looked through this and enjoyed it even without my reading it out loud to them, but for reading out loud, there are a lot of neat suggestions for teaching the shapes and names of letters. This book could very well function as a "teaching the alphabet" curriculum book.
