If you're a fan of Harvest Moon, and you want more "action," then this is the game for you. I love this game!

One word: Addicting!

This game is perfect for multi taskers, but can be quite confusing to go back to after even a day or two of break. For those who found Harvest Moon a bit too tame, Rune Factory Frontier revolves around dungeon-crawling as much as farming and wooing the ladies, so it offers something for everyone. The perfectionist in me demanded that I forge every weapon, grow every crop, and beat every boos three times, so I ended up playing for over 100 hours...

I agree with Julia, however; it would have been much more enjoyable to choose the player character's gender. As used as I am to having to deal with being a boy in the game, it would have been a lot funner to flirt with Kross or Erik instead of saying every three minutes, "No, I am not a lesbian, no I am not..."

After playing this game for a week, it seemed good. It left me wanting to play longer, which is what game developers want. It was interesting, and there was content and characters that you could just eat up.

My only real problem with this game is the inablilty to chose the gender of the only playable character. I know this is because he has to get married, but me, as a woman, would much rather be a girl in this game and marry a boy.

I suggest this game for guys who like dating games with the resposibility of crops and a barn full of monsters.
