Moonraker is over-the-top, but a serviceable Bond flick.

Somehow feels like a cheap copy of the franchise, but Jaws redeems himself.

Ugh. Roger Moore, past his James Bond prime, does his best with the script and story.

Everyone moves slower in space and as soon as you leave earths atmosphere you are assigned a laser weapon. I love the visual scope and style in this film. Taking bond as close to interstellar as he has ever been. :) Defiantly a late 70's large scale film. Special effects and style. Random pop ups of English humor and ridiculousness. Given the base plot in this movie and its company in original films I say its prime time for a remake. :D

This is the 11th installment in the James Bond series, and the fourth to star Roger Moore as James Bond.
Bond investigates the theft of a space shuttle, leading him to Hugo Drax, the owner of the shuttle's manufacturing firm.
Along with space scientist Dr. Holly Goodhead, Bond follows the trail from California to Venice, Rio de Janeiro, and the Amazon rainforest,
and finally into outer space to prevent a plot to wipe out the world population and to re-create humanity with a master race.
Extremely gripping and mind-boggling is the pre-credit sequence, in which James Bond boards a small charter plane and is, en route to England, attacked
by the pilot and crew. Bond is pushed out of the plane by the mercenary assassin Jaws---a Frankenstein's monster-like giant man with "Jaws"-like metalic teeth.
While free-falling to the ground, Bond survives by stealing a parachute from the free-falling pilot, whilst Jaws lands on a circus tent.

Not very interesting - too long - doesn't really seem like a Bond film.
