Cute concept but falls flat as both a field guide and as a cookbook. The book is too small to easily read the recipes and it certainly will not lay flat. I'm not sure how it is meant to be a guidebook other than the color photographs? I certainly wouldn't compare it to a bird or plant identification field guide.
