Ah, yes, David Lynch: director, meditation advocate, painter, creative genius and quinoa lover. He has never been one to explain his films but that's never the point with his art. "Catching the Big Fish" explores the role his decades-old meditation practice has had on his art, written in short essays that can read in any order. Lynch's writing is straightforward and lucid, illustrating his creative process on several of his films but never resorting to explaining or providing answers that don't exist.
