This book uses dinosaurs to illustrate unexpected school behaviours. In the end, the dinosaurs are nothing like imagined and reinforce positive school behaviours.

Comment
Add a CommentAnother wonderful addition to the "How Do Dinosaurs" series, with its characteristic beautiful art, rolling rhymes, and identifiable situations. Unlike the other books, however, I'd recommend this for slightly older children who are already in school. Although my 3-year-old goes to preschool, he was confused by some of the situations, such as "When he gets to the school does he roughhouse and punch? Does he make a quick grab for a classmate's packed lunch?" and "Does he race up the stairs right ahead of the bell?" Others were too subtle for him: "Does he stir up the classroom by making a noise?" I could see that the dinosaur farted but he couldn't.
Surid says, ''Dino go roar! I like dinosaurs! Dinosaurs are big! They come in different colors!''.
Lots of great rhyming and funny pictures. Not the best in the series, though. There isn't a whole lot of time spent on positive behaviors. My three-year-old enjoyed this one, but isn't requesting it ad nauseum.
All of these books are great. My son loves them. Especially great for kids who love dinosaurs. The books have great lessons for children also. I very highly recommend every one of these books!!
My 3 yr old son can't get enough of this rhyming, question asking book. Great illustrations too.
These books are fantastic. Kids learn proper behaviour from the dinosaurs. Each book in the series begins with the bad behaviour and then carries on to display the correct way to do things. The art is fantastic and provides a lot of the humour in the stories. My favourite in this series is 'how do dinosaurs get well soon' which depicts sick dinos with human parents trying to take care of them. Highly Highly recomeded for any body 3 and up.
