For a long time William Nicholson has been one of my absolute favorite authors. "Seeker" is a story of friendship, adventure and growing up. A wonderful read. Well written, fascinating characters and a great storyline.

Started reading to my boys and got addicted to the trilogy. Great for Story time / Bed Time out-loud reading. Unknown coming-of-age jewel - Colorful characters, interesting dialog, and provides insight to human relations.

Seeker after truth is a boy who just turned 16 and now is of the age to join the community. His father wants him to walk in his footsteps but Seeker has other ideas. Such as joining the Nomana which are a group of selfless worshipers who protect Anacrea. Meanwhile Morning Star is also turning 16, lives with her father and has been planning to join the Nomana. In this story, the most unlikely people go on a quest to protect the one place they love. Their are ups and downs but they are determined . I enjoyed this story very much and am currently waiting for the next one. Each character has a very interesting personality that contributes more to the story than they probably think and will lead them to what they are destined to. I think both kids and adults would very well enjoy this book.

"They are watching.
Day by day their bodies grow weak.
Day by day their minds grow stronger.
Their will reaches out to the little people. Their will finds those who knew who know how to obey. for the old ones, this a matter of life and death. Their life. Everyone else's death."
