I enjoyed this book and was happy to sit and read in one afternoon. The book does tend to jump around a bit but you quickly catch on. I think it slightly lacked character development outside Kol and Isabela, this however did not take away from the story.

a great read slow in some parts but i couldn't put it down.
jolie mathis drew me in and that was great. the story was set in the right time and sucked me in. adventure and love rolled into, not a bad combination.
