Zimmer does well the second time out with this soundtrack for the adaptation to the Dan Brown novel. The music has epic moments, quiet character based moments, and the cues that perfectly accompany the high stakes mystery and religious drama of the story. The music builds from his work on the Da Vinci Code, but becomes its own work entirely, and it succeeds.
Is it possible that I only disliked one song on the whole album? Who did this epic soundtrack? Oh wait, Hans Zimmer, no wonder it's so amazing.
I LOVE this sountrack. I actually like it much better than the DaVinci Code soundtrack. This one is definitely one of my favourites!
One of my favourite soundtracks to listen to when reading/studying.
This soundtrack really evoked the richness of Rome. It was fast-paced and exciting but retained its moments of grandeur and power. It doesn't compare to the Davinci Code because the story it follows is different. The Davinci Code is far more religious and the sounds mimick that quality.
da vinci code movie and soundtrack are better
