A good summary of the Holocaust in spite of the stylised prisoners (well fed, clean with perfectly shaped eyebrows and hair colours.) The documentary photographs gave a good contrast to what otherwise would have been hard to watch. The acting was very good. The transformation of the character of Dorf was very interesting.

My second viewing experience (34 years after its first television airing) is just as fresh. It is thoroughly compelling. With such a cast, how could it not be?
