This book is a thriller in the Christian lit genre. Rosenberg is good at writing action scenes but falters when he sets the stage for that action. I was irked by the many acronyms (like WMD), the melodramatic language (like "gorgeous Mercedes"), the short alternating sections describing the actions of many characters, and the intrusion of a demanding mother to the male lead character. What story hero has a mother phoning her son's employer constantly needing to know how the son is? I think Rosenberg is trying to make his story more appealing to female readers. I liked Rosenberg's untangling of the scripture, Ezekiel 38:18-23 and how he uses publications prior to 1940's (can quote without copyright infringement??) to help him understand those verses. The action of the story is based on how the fulfillment of those verses might look, based on current world happenings.

Great read. A real page turner with lots of story lines and "what happens next" chapter endings.. Could not put this down.
