I have to admit - I chose this title simply because I am a quilter. Surprisingly, quilts took 2nd or even 3rd chair in this storyline. I was pleasantly surprised when the underground railroad breathed to life before my eyes.

I listened to this book. The reader is excellent. This is a good book to listen to. The plot is straight forward and not too complex to follow. There are quite a few characters in the story, but we meet them 1 or 2 at a time. I had no problem remembering who was who.
