Was expecting more quick, easy and light weight food and recipe suggestions. Most of the suggestions in this book are not suitable for back country hiking trips that are longer than a single night. It might be useful if you were camping with a car and don't have to worry as much about weight and cooking times. There are some helpful general notes at the start, for example on how to dehydrate foods and the amount of calories burnt when hiking.
