A kitty and the Moon are the characters of this story. Very creative and funny story about a kitty which was so hungry that thought that the Moon would be a big bowl of milk. Monochrome illustrations. Caldecott Award.

I love this book. Lovely. Adventurous with a message about home. The drawings are perfect. I'll be buying this one as a gift
My favourite part was when Kitten finally got her milk.
Poor kitten is having a rough night chasing that bowl of milk in the sky.
This is a great book for preschoolers. Kitten shows persistence in her struggle and is redeemed in the end.
