Anyone who's interested in the ins and outs of the filmmaking industry will love this book--as the title indicates, it's filled with "dirt" on studio execs, directors, and the awards show circuit in the 1990s, featuring famous players like Harvey and Bob Weinstein, Quentin Tarantino, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, Steven Soderbergh, and many more. Biskind's vivid descriptive style is incredibly fun to read and makes each figure into a memorable character study. Highly recommended to film fans!
