Though it may have been released in 1997, the movie Men in Black somehow still works. The movie still distinguishes itself from the current films of today, making it the type of movie that should still remain to be a classic. During my first time watching it, I didn't really know what turns this movie will take. It's alien sci-fi theme works, even though the effects are outdated. A large amount of physical humour that didn't really fit with me but I can see why others would like it. A fairly humorous sci-fi, sure to take you out of your weekday slump. 4 Stars

These creatures, like Gumby, so cute. much better than George Lucas's UGLY space animals.!Yech!! // Thought the sequel was better...i'm a fan of Linda Fiorentino. The most recent sequel was a bummer, man: It featured Tommy Lee's voice coming out of a younger actor's mouth! Smith looked perplexed. But i'm sure he took his salary. That's Hollywood!

Insane buddy cop comedy with zany storyline. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones make a legendary team

I watched this movie so many times as a kid, and I thought Will Smith was the coolest guy ever. I watched this movie recently, it's a little dated but it holds up.

It could have been really good, without the many Politically Correct & stereotypical Follywood pitfalls. Also, without the whole white/black thing. (Constantly.) Many subtle, and some not so subtle. Who cares...
Add Will Smith's incessantly annoying persona, & the whole film ends up being pretty forgetful and archaic.

Definitely a top movie of all time. Action, Sci-Fi and a police partner type movie. And, don't forget, a cute coroner thrown in, you don't get that in every movie!

At this point, it's a classic Will Smith movie. Everyone loves a good Buddy Cop flik, but when they are both alien hunters who work with a secret government organization that totally exists? The entire concept is comedic gold and fun for all ages who don't mind turning off their brain for a bit.

Very funny. I liked it.

Edgar the bug was a pretty witty idea for an alien based villain. The film also had very entertaining dialogue that didn't pander to audiences like most action films did. Frankly, a really innovative idea film. Sequel was a bit hard to swallow though.

Jay: [Kay is blaring "Promised Land" by Elvis Presley on the car's stereo] You do know Elvis is dead, right?

Kay: No, Elvis is not dead. He just went home.

Jay: No, what you remember is that you used to drive that old busted joint. See, I drive... the new hotness. [points at Kay] Old and busted. [points at himself] New hotness. [K looks at J for a second, then J hands the keys over] Old, busted hotness.

Jay: Zed, don't you guys ever get any sleep around here?
Zed: The twins keep us on Centaurian time, standard thirty-seven hour day. Give it a few months. You'll get used to it... or you'll have a psychotic episode.

Jay: Did you ever flashy-thing me?
Kay: No.
Jay: I ain't playing with you, K. Did you ever flashy-thing me?
Kay: No.

Kay: All right, kid, here's the deal. At any given time there are approximately 1500 aliens on the planet, most of them right here in Manhattan. And most of them are decent enough, they're just trying to make a living.
Jay: Cab drivers?
Kay: Not as many as you'd think.

Bug: Place your projectile weapon on the ground.
Edgar: You can have my gun, when you pry it from my cold dead fingers.
Bug: Your proposal is acceptable.

"What was that?" "SUGAR!" "I've never seen sugar do that."
