As a health care professional, I came to this Ortho-Bionomy DVD with great skepticism. The video does not address the illium or psoas specifically. However, those sections seemed to be replaced by several examples of treatment for scoliosis, and the corrections were very impressive. There was even treatment for someone with Harrington Rods. The Schroth method is known for its positive impact on scoliosis, but these simple, short exercises brought some fast improvements, helping to reduce muscle tone and imbalances. This DVD on posture provides a great starting point for manual therapists and individuals seeking to improve their posture without having to deal with the muscle compensation of the traditional 'pull your shoulders back' method. I'm hooked, and will be looking into other DVDs in this series. A delightful surprise. Like all manual therapies, the videos are slow - a bit like watching grass grow, so if you are impatient or easily bored, try to get a viewer where you can watch on 2x speed.
