A lovely story, simply told but replete with innuendo. A glimpse into the difficult depression era before WWII when people engaged in feats of endurance to get money and symbolize hope for the impoverished workers trying to find work.
Based on the life of an early 20th century aviatrix , the fictional story is set in Toronto. Undercurrents of Nazism, misogyny and adolescent angst.
