This is a Treasure book, full of 1-2-full-page spectacular images taken by various international photographic artists. Absolutely stunning, a treat for the eyes and food for the soul. Leaf through it quietly with your feet up and a cup of tea. (re "description" and other "comment" - scary / friendly trees? Trees are as are all trees - harmless other than that we much more intrusive and careless species might be in their way).

Very large coffee table book.
I am very interested in trees and the book has beautiful pictures but I could not get into the text although I found the quotes both inspiring and interesting.
I would have preferred that the pictures were labeled in the body of the book rather than in small print at the end.

Worth taking a look at.

Pretty much all photography, with a bit of text. I prefer photos of friendly trees, so there are only a couple of photos where I might have taken a close-up of some feature but not of the whole thing.
