I am a Christian but I have struggled with fear my entire
life. Wanting to grow in faith I believe I was led to this book by God. Throughout this book God compared my fears with Himself so I could see how laughable it is to doubt that He can meet my needs. Here are words from the book that changed my outlook: "Courage is fear that has said its prayers." and "When Christ is great, our fears are not. As awe of Jesus expands, fears of life diminish. A big God translates into big courage." All my life I have gazed at my fears rather than focusing my sight on Jesus, the greatest provider and problem solver in the universe.

As an avid reader and lover of Lucado's writings, I must admit I was a bit disappointed after the first three chapters. Then, suddenly, the book grabbed me and each page got better and better to the end. All and all, another great book from Max!

They say faith is the opposite of fear, find out why in Lucado's book about what it means to "trust more and fear less." His down-to-earth style makes it easy even for beginners and those just curious about Christianity to take the plunge into trusting God more, or at least examining the possibility.
