Tate Beaumont, a beautiful young marine archaeology student, and her father are in search of Angelique's Curse, a jeweled amulet said to have belonged to a witch burned at the stake and which long lost at sea. Enter Matthew Lassiter and his uncle Buck, underwater salvagers with whom Tate reluctantly joins forces. Together they brave danger -- the amulet may indeed carry a curse -- and danger leads to love.

A stunningly attractive and talented heroine, a stunningly attractive and "rough diamond" hero, and a stunningly evil arch villain all searching for the stunningly beautiful necklace. I just found it all a bit much. Disappointingly so, considering I have thoroughly enjoyed other Nora Roberts' books previously.
