Surprisingly introspective and insightful, Cummings delivers the funny with a lot of food for thought. Although her problems may seem "First World" to some, it's okay to recognize that some people's struggles are internal and the enemy we must defeat is ourselves. With razor-sharp wit and warm honesty, this is a memoir that truly has something to say (heck, MANY things to say). Men, resist the thought that this is "chick lit" - this book is about the human experience. Highly recommended.

It appears that every stand-up comedian/comedienne feels he/she has to write a book - specifically a memoir. Whitney Cummings is no exception. The difference is that her book is not too bad. Her self-deprecatory style of humor struck a chord with me and I enjoyed her book in small doses. I might even watch the TV shows as a result - and i"m not a TV person in general.
