I'm glad they didn't start the series with this. It's awful. They sucked all the charm out of the original for this money grab. There must be a better way to spend time with your kids. I'd suggest playing music with them or increasing their reading skills over this tedious and forgettable cartoon.
3.5/5 stars. Cars 3 is a 2017 American computer-animated comedy-adventure film directed by Brian Fee. It is the third installment of the beloved Cars franchise. Cars has a simplistic story about a young, skilled, and overly confident athlete learning the ins and outs of being a good sport. Cars 2 is a (poor) attempt at a py movie. Cars 3 feels like it is based in far deeper themes. The movie is very self-aware, as the story of Lightning aging parallels the franchise aging as a whole. I also think the director made in film references to the whole franchise only existing to sell merchandise, and I think Brian Fee made a good attempt to make a more meaningful story. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and was engaged the entire way through. It was funny, the characters are endearing, making you empathize with them all the way through. The movie is well paced and focused, unlike its predecessor. If you're looking for a well-made movie for the whole family to enjoy, this is a good choice. @Joaquin of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board
The movie “Cars 3” is a terrific Disney movie and the third part of the original Disney movie, “Cars”. The animation of this movie was marvelous, the animation of this movie is the exact same animation as the original movie “Cars” and the second part known as “Cars 2”. Overall the animation of the background and characters was very well done with exceptional detail. The only thing which I disliked about this movie was that Lightning McQueen kept losing races to rookies. The plot of this movie was outstanding with new advanced cars becoming rookies and kept beating Lightning McQueen to the point where he was almost forced to retire. The entire movie was heartbreaking as young advanced rookies overtook the racing sport and defeated McQueen many times. The emotion and mood which this movie expressed were marvelous with a glimpse of joy, anger and sadness. I believe that this movie is enjoyable for all ages as it is quite appropriate for younger children and is still entertaining for adults. Anyone who loves “Cars” or “Cars 2” should definitely watch the final part. Rating 4.5/5.

This isn't really that good because cruz ramirez instead of lightning mcqueen, won the race.
Disney should have stopped after the first one. The whole talking car bit is very played out.
loved this movie. it was positive, funny, and exciting. we will definetly be getting this movie
again. i liked how cruz rameriez was so positive and i felt the story line was alot
more intresting then the other cars movies. i sure hope they make cars 4. cars 2 was
aweful, and this was a pleasant conclusion to the whole story. absolutly love it.
Cars 3 is almost as good as Cars 1. Cars 2 was a worthless flop. Thanks Disney.
This is a better Cars 2 than the previous. You don't even need to see the second one to understand what's happening in this film, it flows pretty well from the first Cars.
And I think Ms. Fritter is my favorite minor character in this whole franchise.
After the flop of Cars 2, I was prepared for Cars 3 to be a trainwreck. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised at the mature plot, clever characters, and strong story. There might not be a Cars 4 (or maybe there will be?) but whether this is the end or not, it's a great movie.
Best Cars movie ever! It was hilarious, fun, and had good humor. I own the whole cars collection and this by far is the best. I hope they continue making Cars and Planes movies, because they are big time family movies.
This 3rd film feels more like the 1st one and can be watched without seeing the 2nd one. Positive messages about aging and altruism.
This is a fun, exciting movie with wonderful characters. For younger viewers there are messages about believing in yourself and persevering. For parents and grandparents, there are positive messages about how to cope with aging. :)
Better than Cars 2! Definitely worth a watch. The animation was great.
I like that Pixar doesn't jut throw out cheap, hastily produced, straight-to-video sequels like Disney has with earlier franchises. This movie is lots of fun. I especially loved Mater's hilarious tribute to an old 1950's Disney short.
Why c`ant you just get movies that you didn`t see in other shops they have them at costco lots of them.
