Delusion in Death

Item Details

After 12 minutes of violence at a downtown bar, 80 people lay dead. Surviving witnesses talk about seeing things--monsters and swarms of bees. The patrons were exposed to a cocktail of chemicals and illegal drugs that could drive anyone to temporary insanity--if not kill them.

good premise for the story, interesting & inventive way of committing crime. Unfortunately the motive and the ending is a bit weak. I still love all "... In Death" stroy, just that some are more memorable, not this one though.

Better then the last one but still lacking quite a bit of what made this series! There are hardly any mention of the technologies/advances that the other books used to have.

This was a very good one although there was more blood and gore than usual. A nice affection shown between Dallas and Roarke and less graphic sex. Easy fast read.

I read this in one sitting and thoroughly enjoyed it. Robb introduces a new character and gives us a glimpse of the "Urban Wars" history that she's been writing about. It's a little gruesome in places so be prepared for that.

Another good read in the "...In Death" series from J.D.Robb. I've read all of them and never seem to tire of the formulaic plots, or of the characters (who have become, if not exactly friends, at least beloved acquaintances).

Loved it, as usual plot complicated enough to keep me guessing till the very end

Sometimes I lose track of the story, even when the series is one of my favorites. I don't know if I was too tired to focus, or Robb got carried away with the character lists. I stopped trying to keep it all straight about halfway through and just concentrated on Dallas and her usual crew.
