“If only, if only," the woodpecker sighs, "The bark on the tree was as soft as the skies." While the wolf waits below, hungry and lonely, Crying to the moo-oo-oon, If only, If only.”

I liked this book it was very good and it got me started on my liking for louis sachar books! However, no offence to anyone, I have read some of his other books and I thought that some of them were better than 'holes' so how come this one is a bestseller? why not the other ones, i mean on every single other book it says by the athor of the bestseller holes. so.....idk. you are the judge everybody. Correct me if im wrong.
