Comment
Add a CommentI admire Shania Twain's willingness to be open about her life and herself, even if I haven't always appreciated her music nor her ex-husband's contributions to the music world. I'm surprised by PaganPride's oh so knowing comment. They already knew the intimate details of Twain's life before it came to print? Anyway, a good book to read and to learn from - her perspectives on childhood, the relative poverty she grew up in and of learning of her being betrayed by a friend and her own husband.
Was ok, but nothing I didn't already know
Like the book. A little disapointed she chose to use American spelling though.
A very enjoyable book although I think it could have been a bit shorter. It was hard going at times.
J'ai beaucoup aimé ce livre. Shania n'a pas peur de divulguer certains secrets de son passé, un passé difficile.
Excellent memoir. Very open and honest. Highly recommened.
What an excellent read, from the beginning to the end. Would highly recommend reading her biography.
Excellent biography... Very detailed, almost too much so, but kept me coming back for more. Well written!
I absolutely love this book. It is one of those rare books about a music legend that will transform the reader's perspective. I know it really did help me to see Shania Twain in a way that I never have.
Chronicles the life and career of the Grammy-winning country musician.
