Add a CommentIt is the most basic pedometer I've ever seen - it can only count your steps, there is no program to set for your stride to calculate distances automatically. If you want to keep track of your distances, invest in a cheap pedometer. I think I had one from a cereal box years ago that was better than this.
Be very careful that you use the lanyard provided as it easily comes off your belt/pants. They are expensive to replace
