Add a NoticeFrightening or Intense Scenes: Very intense violence
Violence: Very intense. There is a pychopath who kills people for fun. No blood, if they added a bit of blood and one or two more swear words, it would be R.
Frightening or Intense Scenes: People being shot, a villian with scars for a smile, explosions, lots of fistfights, someone's face being badly burnt.... Its PG-13. What do you expect??
Violence: very brutal violance
Frightening or Intense Scenes: This is a very intense movie, lots of tension towards the end and generally throughout. Keep in mind this is a strong PG-13 movie, and me being 18, I felt a few parts were pretty intense.
Violence: People get killed, KO'd, beaten up really bad, dropped from the second floor. Yeah, it's pretty standard for a superhero movie, lots of beat'em up and such. But you've got to admit, Batman has got some rad fighting skills, I'll give him a 10/10 for just those.

Violence: Brutal violence

Harvey Dent: Heh heh heh. Any psychotic ex-boyfriends I should be aware of? Alfred Pennyworth: [smiles] Oh, you have no idea.
Happy: So why do they call him "The Joker"? Dopey: I heard he wears make-up. Happy: Make-up? Dopey: Yeah, to scare people. You know, war paint

Comment
Add a CommentThe Dark Knight, directed by Christopher Nolan, was released in 2008 as a sequel to Batman Begins. Christian Bale stars as Batman and Heath Ledger as The Joker. This is definitely one of my favourite movies of all time. This movie has everything a viewer could want in terms of substance and action. The story follows The Joker’s menacing plan to take over Gotham City, and to watch the Batman fail. Heath Ledger puts on the best acting performance I have ever seen. The emotion and creepiness he captures for The Joker is perfect. In my opinion, this is the best Joker to be played in a Batman movie. The supporting cast around the movie give it an extra push to be considered a top 10 film of its time. The new gadgets and weapons Batman uses in this movie are lots of fun to see. The movie has a few complicated wrinkles that made me go back and watch it again, but this is what makes the movie so much fun. The Dark Knight is one of the best movies I have ever seen and I always jump at a chance to see it again.
What a great movie! I loved the whole trilogy.
Yes Heath Ledger is nearly unrecognizable as the Joker, but despite his investment in the role, I wonder if people would still consider him "the most evil villan" if not for the various vile plans he executed throughout the movie? I still think the movie and the performance are very overrated.
Awesome movie!! Joker is the best villain EVER!!!!! Awesome action and acting (Especially from Heath Ledger). Definitely one of my favourite movies! 5 stars!!!
Not as good as all the hype I read about.
This is my favorite movie made by my favorite film maker, Christopher Nolan. This movie is fantastic. Must watch, lots of violence
Fabulous acting. Good special effects. Violence beyond belief. And a cop out ending. I'm glad I saw it but I don't need to see it again.
Cool special effects. I want a "Bat-bike".
my favorite movie! Batman is better than Spiderman, Super Man, Iron Man and amny other super heroes you can think of combined! BATMAN FTW!! :D (plus I'm a girl and I find this movie epic!)
if they just trap the bad guy and he escapes not a great movie but still alright
