Average crime drama. No chemistry between Washington and Jolie.

I thought the movie was good as a stand-alone title. However, as a "based on the book" movie, it was left wanting. There were too many changes to the story and characters. Watching it right after finishing the book turned out to be disappointing turn of events. If, however, you have no interest in reading the book, then the movie is quite good.

Coarse Language: There's a fair amount of profanity in this film. One of the reasons the movie is rated R is for the language.
